Hanaya Japanese Restaurant is seeking F/T First Cooks

Position Info:

·         Position: First Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time

·         Wage: $21.50~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 106-2828 152st Surrey BC V4P 1G6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Prepare food items and cook complete various type of Japanese food items

·         Oversee kitchen operations

·         Maintain inventory and record of foods and other supplies, and monitor and order supplies if required

·         Participate in planning menus, determining size of food portions, and estimating food requirements and costs

·         Maintain the food preparation area and kitchen to be clean and sanitized

·         Assist in hiring and training new kitchen staff

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.

·         Education: Completion of Secondary School is required.

·         Language: English
