Overview
What you will do
Supervise and care for children and maintain safe daily routines.
Assist with bathing, dressing, and feeding children as required.
Prepare meals and support children’s eating routines.
Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development.
Organize activities that support development and engagement.
Discipline children and support consistent routines and expectations.
Perform light housekeeping related to childcare.
Assume responsibility for the household in the absence of parents as required.
Support children’s emotional well being through attentive care and communication.
Work environment and physical requirements
This is an on site role in a private home. The work includes active supervision, moving throughout the home, and handling typical childcare tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting light items.
What we are looking for
Organized and reliable.
Able to work independently and follow family routines.
English required.
Education: Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: 1 to less than 7 months.
