40 hours/week; 2 days off

Rate: $24.50 per hour

Work Setting: Employer’s home

Free room and board

Language:  Ability to read, speak and write in English

Education:  High school certificate

Experience: minimum 7 months’ paid  elderly-care experience in a home setting

Reliability, honesty, flexibility, dependability, good judgment, commitment to a full-time job are required

Duties:

Administer bedside and personal care
Assist in oral medications
Assist client with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
Assist in regular exercise, walk
Feed or assist in feeding
Launder clothing and household linens
Provide companionship
Provide personal care
Shop for food and household supplies
Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
