Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in landscaping.

Work Location: Various locations in Lower Mainland.

Job Duties:

Plan and construct landscaped environments, including trees, shrubberies, lawns, fences, decks, patios, and other landscape structures.
Perform ground-keeping and building maintenance duties.
Mow lawn either by hand or using lawnmower equipment.
Cut lawn using hand, power, or riding mower, trim, and edge around walks, flower beds, and walls.
Landscape by planting flowers, grass, shrubs, and bushes.
Shovel snow from the walkways.
Perform routine maintenance duties such as applying plaster, fixing fountains, and other responsibilities.
Sweep walkways of debris.
Cut down tree limbs that are posing a danger.
Rake, mulch, and prune the ground as needed.
Water plants and grass as needed and apply fertilizer.
Operate, maintain, and monitor irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution for landscaped areas.
Landscape construction and installation
Job Requirements:

·        Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, and horticulture practices.

·        Proven ability to safely operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).

·        Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).

·        Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision as well as part of a team.

·        Good physical stamina and ability to perform repetitive, physically demanding tasks.

·        Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence.

Working Conditions:

·        Work in wet, damp, cold environments, outdoors, with exposure to dust, strong odours, and noisy conditions.

·        Heavy workloads; required to stand, bend, crouch, and kneel for extended periods.

·        Repetitive tasks.

·        Job is physically demanding; ability to lift 50 lbs or more.
