Position Info:

·         Position: Hairstylist

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $23.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1041 Cambie Street, Vancouver, BC V6B 5L7

Job Duties:

·         Consult with clients to assess hair and scalp condition and recommend suitable hair care services

·         Cut, trim, and style hair based on clients’ preferences and current hairstyle trends

·         Shampoo, condition, and treat hair to maintain scalp and hair health

·         Apply colouring products such as bleach, dyes, and tints to achieve desired hair colour results

·         Perform hair treatments including straightening, perming, waving, and scalp conditioning

·         Recommend hairstyles that complement clients’ facial features and personal style

·         Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure hair tools and equipment are properly sanitized

·         Monitor inventory levels and order hair care products and salon supplies as needed

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of experience as a hairstylist are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
