Work Location: 8231 Ackroyd Rd, Richmond, BC V6X 3K8

Hours: 30-40 hours/Week

Position type: permanent full time

Wage: $21 per hour

 

Job Duties:

·       Prepare and cook authentic Szechuan and Northeastern Chinese (Dongbei) dishes

·       Assist in food preparation, including washing, cutting, and portioning ingredients

·       Ensure consistency in taste, quality, and presentation of dishes

·       Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and workstations

·       Follow food safety and sanitation standards at all times

·       Monitor inventory and report shortages to management

·       Work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

·       Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

Qualifications

·       Language of Work: English. Chinese is an asset.

·       Education: Completion of secondary (high) school education

·       Cuisine specialties: Experience in Szechuan cuisine and Northeastern Chinese cuisine is required

·       Experience: one to two years of relevant work experience as a cook is required
