Job Summary:

The live-out caregiver is responsible for taking care of aging senior citizen. The caregiver will be responsible for assisting with activities of daily living, promoting independence, ensuring safety, and providing companionship. This role requires empathy, patience, and the ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of the individual.

 

 

Job Responsibilities and duties

·       Offer support, companionship to the individual at all times;

·       Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and guidelines;

·       Prepare and serve nutritious meals, considering any dietary restrictions or preferences;

·       Perform light housekeeping duties including tidying living spaces, laundry, and basic cleaning;

·       Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of the individual and his family;

·       Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents or injuries;

·       Maintain documentation of care provided, including daily activities, observations, and any incidents; and

·       Other duties as required.

 

 

 

Minimum Skills Requirements:

·       Must have completed secondary schooling education at least.

·       Knowledge of and experiencing in preparing and cooking Indian cuisine is preferred;

·       A degree is nursing is preferred;

·       Must possess certification in first aid; and

·       Must be dependable, reliable, empathetic, organizational, and effective communication skills.
