Red Robin Gourmet Burgers and Brews is a casual dining restaurant chain that serves a variety of craveable, high-quality gourmet burgers with Bottomless Streak FriesTM as well as salads, sandwiches, entrees, and soups. They are looking to hire a full-time cook to join their team in Kelowna location. The position is suitable for reliable and dependable individuals who are able to work as a team and can handle working in a busy and fast-paced work environment.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook regular meals
  • Weigh, measure, mix, and prep ingredients according to recipes
  • Grill, boil, bake or fry meats, fries, and other ingredients
  • Keep detailed and accurate records of inventory, food wastage, supplies, and equipment to support management in the proper and efficient ordering of materials
  • Ensure the quality of food being prepared is aligned with business standards
  • Ensure kitchen staff follow proper food safety sanitation requirements to maintain a
    clean work area

Employment Requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school
  • 1-2 years cooking experience or completion of college or other programs in cooking
  • Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain before the employment start date
  • Be capable of taking direction well
