Overview

My husband, myself, daughter (10), and son (9) are looking for a live-in nanny in downtown Toronto. We are looking for an experienced, trustworthy, nurturing and responsible individual whose most important responsibility is the safety and well being of our children during the hours that we are away from home. During the day, we expect that you also will undertake a variety of activities to develop our children; including reading, homework assistance, play, and activities. In addition to taking care of our children, our nanny would be responsible for general tidiness related to them (laundry, tidy kitchen, rooms etc) Our nanny would also be responsible for preparing meals and feeding as appropriate. We have a philosophy of whenever possible to provide homemade meals and healthy snacks rather than prepared/processed foods. Our nanny would also be responsible for basic household needs that we would ordinarily do if we were home (errands, empty the dishwasher, take the garbage out, tidying up the living room, food preparation, and vacuum when necessary)
