Position Info:

·         Position: Home Support Worker

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $24.50/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 7268 Hudson St, Vancouver, BC V6P 6J6

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Assist with personal hygiene routines, including bathing, toileting, and dressing

·         Physically support the client on walks or around the home to ensure safety and prevent falls

·         Engage the client in conversation, hobbies, or light activities to provide mental stimulation and comfort

·         Shop for groceries and plan weekly menus according to the client’s dietary needs

·         Prepare and cook healthy, nutritious meals

·         Ensure the home remains organized by handling laundry, washing dishes, and tidying living areas

·         Assist the client with casual outings or escort them to medical appointments

Job Requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required

·         Experience: Experience is an asset
