Position Info:
- Position: Early Childhood Educator
- Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
- Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)
- Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
- Number of Positions: 2
- Work Location: 3069 Highview Street, Victoria, BC V8T 3V7

Job Duties:
- Create and implement childcare programs that encourage and support children’s physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development
- Maintain daycare equipment and an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children
- Provide opportunities for children to express creativity through creative and diverse activities
- Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problem and prepare reports for parents or supervisor
- Help children build proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits
- Engage children in activities by telling stories, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
- Engage in staff meetings to discuss children’s development and difficulties
Job requirements:
- Experience: Experience is an asset
- Education: College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education is required
- Certificate: First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate and E.C.E. Certificate
- Language: English
