Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00 – 22.00 / hr

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 350 Nanaimo Street, Vancouver, BC V5L 4R7

Job Duties:

·         Execute a diverse menu by following set recipes and quality benchmarks

·         Precisely measure ingredients to ensure consistent results and reduce waste

·         Manage food preparation for guests with allergies according to safety rules

·         Oversee kitchen stock and help order new supplies when required

·         Maintain accurate records of inventory and equipment for efficient workflow

·         Keep the kitchen area clean and organized to meet all safety standards

 

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
