Overview

Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00~$23.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  4

·         Work Location: 1-612 Head St, Victoria, BC V9A 5S8

 

Benefits:

Job Duties:

·         Prepare complete meals

·         Order kitchen supplies and equipment

·         Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment

·         Inspect kitchens and food service areas

·         Keep kitchen and food preparation area clean and sanitized

·         Supervise kitchen helpers and other staff

·         Train other kitchen helpers in preparation, cooking, and handling food items

·         Involve in recruiting process of kitchen helpers

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
