Position Info:

·         Position: Cook

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $20.00-$22.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  2

·         Work Location: 1-4739 Willingdon Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, V5G 3H5

Job Duties:

·         Handle the full preparation and cooking of all menu offerings

·         Customize plates for guests with specific allergies or dietary needs

·         Scrub down workstations and prep areas to meet health and safety standards

·         Price out menu items and define standard servings for each dish

·         Coordinate with the kitchen team to keep service moving smoothly

·         Order necessary ingredients and kitchen essentials to keep the pantry stocked

·         Log all incoming stock and monitor the condition of kitchen hardware

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience is required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
