Sushiwood is seeking a F/T Restaurant Manager

 

Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $25.00~$28.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 702 Vernon Street, Nelson, BC V1L 4G2

 

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year or 4% vacation pay

 

Job Duties:

·         Estimate, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations

·         Monitor revenues and adapt to procedures and prices

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies

·         Develop, implement, and analyze budgets

·         Oversee staff performance

·         Develop customer service strategy and marketing plans

·         Hire, train and manage staff

 

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Experience: 2~3 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required
