Position Info:

·         Position: Graphic Designer

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $30.50~$33.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 4501 North Road 331A, Burnaby, BC V3N 4R7

Benefits:

·         10 days paid vacation per year

Job Duties:

·         Develop the graphic elements that meet the clients’ objectives
·        Estimate cost of materials and time to complete graphic design
·         Consult with clients to establish the overall look, graphic elements and content of communications materials in order to meet their needs
·        Determine the medium best suited to produce the desired visual effect and the most appropriate vehicle for communication
·         Prepare sketches, layouts and graphic elements of the subjects to be rendered

·         Coordinate all aspects of production for print, audio-visual or electronic materials, such as Web sites, CDs and interactive terminals
·        Establish guidelines for illustrators or photographers
Job requirements:

·         Experience: 1~2 years of relevant experience is required.

·         Education: A university degree in visual arts with specialization in graphic design, commercial art, graphic communications or cartooning or Completion of a college diploma program in graphic art is required.
