Overview

This position involves on-site orchard and vineyard work focused on apple and grape production. The role requires working outdoors in all weather conditions, including wet, hot, and cold environments. Responsibilities include planting, cultivating, irrigating, and harvesting apples and grapes; applying and mixing fertilizers; guiding, tying, and securing growing shoots; maintaining vine growth, canopy management, and grape development; pruning and cutting agricultural crops; picking orchard and row crops; weeding; and operating and maintaining farm machinery and equipment.

The work is physically demanding and involves repetitive tasks, tight seasonal deadlines, standing for extended periods, frequent bending, crouching, kneeling, and lifting loads of up to 23 kg (50 lbs). This is a seasonal position running from March 1 to November 30, with a wage of $17.85 per hour. Previous orchard or vineyard experience is required. No formal education or certification is required.
