We are looking for motivated journeymen and apprentices in joinery with architectural millwork/cabinet maker experience. Candidates should possess an excellent understanding of shop drawings, machining & assembly methods, installations, specialty hardware and what it means to meet schedules.

We are a dynamic Architectural Millwork shop. We pride ourselves on the fact that our clients seek us out for the complex technical work our shop produces. We are seeking a hard-working, self-motivated craftsman to join our team. We have state of the art equipment that you will operate in creating our stunning millwork projects.

Job Description and Responsibilities:

  • Study plans, specifications or drawings of articles to be made
  • Mark outlines or dimensions of parts on wood
  • Operate woodworking machines, such as power saws, jointers, mortisers and shapers, and use hand tools to cut, shape and form parts and components
  • Trim joints and fit parts and subassemblies together to form complete unit using glue and clamps and reinforce joints using nails, screws or other fasteners
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain or polish to finished products
  • Repair or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures and related products
  • Deliver and install millwork and cabinetry
  • Machining and Assembly
  • Communication with Management
  • Maintaining shop equipment
  • Cleaning up after yourself

Employment requirements:

  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • Minimum 4 years of related experience in cabinetmaking and/or carpentry or a combination of trade experience and training
