Position Info:

·         Position: Pet Grooming Supervisor

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $27.00-$28.00/hour (depending on experience)

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions:  1

·         Work Location: 1905 West 1st Ave, Vancouver, BC V6J 1G7

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the grooming team, managing workflow to meet client time expectations

·         Resolve operational problems and provide expertise in response to client needs, specifically regarding pet health issues and specialized grooming requirements

·         Schedule and confirm appointments using POS software

·         Perform professional grooming activities, including full grooms and walk-in services like nail trims and sanitary shaves, to support the team during peak times or staff absences

·         Requisition and order grooming materials and retail inventory to ensure the shop is consistently stocked

·         Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets and payroll summaries to manage staff hours and administrative records

·         Maintain a clean and safe work environment and supervise the safe operation of grooming equipment

·         Train and mentor staff in job duties and company policies, ensuring clear communication between the client’s vision and the final grooming result

Job requirements:

·         Language: English

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Experience: 2-3 years of related experience is required
