Position Info:

Position: Cook
Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
Wage: $16.75~$19/hour (depending on experience)
Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week
Number of Positions:  2
Work Location: 260 4 Ave, Kamloops, BC V2C 3N5

Benefits:

Job Duties:

Prepare and cook food as directed
May hire and train kitchen staff
Set staff work schedule and supervise kitchen helpers
Ensure food service and quality control
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Keep records and accounts of food, supplies, and equipment
Monitor stock of supplies, ingredients, and place orders when there are shortages
Keep a sanitized and orderly environment in the kitchen
Plan menus and devise new recipes
Manage kitchen operations

Job requirements:

Language: English
Experience: 2-3 years of commercial cooking experience are required.
Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
