We are seeking a Cable installation and repair helper – telecommunications to join the YPS Prime Solutions team. In this role, you will be asked to perform various functions.

Wage: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours/week

Job Requirements:

Language: English

Education: Completion of secondary (high) school

Work Experience: At least 1 month to less than 7 months of relevant experience

Job Descriptions: In this role, you will be asked to perform various functions. A Cable installation and repair helper – telecommunication is responsible for ensuring many different tasks, including but not limited to:

·        Assist technicians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of telecommunications cables, including coaxial, fibre-optic, and copper cables

·        Carry, position, and secure tools, equipment, ladders, and materials at work sites

·        Help run, pull, splice, and terminate cables under supervision

·        Prepare work areas by digging trenches, climbing poles, or accessing confined spaces as required

·        Clean and maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles

·        Load and unload materials and supplies

·        Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
