Position Info:

·         Position: Restaurant Manager

·         Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent

·         Wage: $37.00/hour

·         Working Hours: 30-40 hours/week

·         Number of Positions: 1

·         Work Location: 4700 Hammond Bay Rd, Nanaimo, BC V9T 5B1

Benefits:

·         4% vacation pay

Job Duties:

·         Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of employees

·         Plan, manage and evaluate the operation of the restaurant and food service

·         Establish staff work schedules and manage staff performance

·         Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage

·         Determine and develop customer service, and implement operational procedures

·         Ensure health and safety regulations are followed

·         Maintain accurate cash records and prepare balance sheets, cash reports, and other related forms

·         Resolve customer’s complaints and concerns

·         Manage inventory, monitor revenues, and adjust procedures as needed

·         Recruit and train staff, and oversee staff training

Job requirements:

·         Experience: 3-5 years of experience in the food service sector, including supervisory experience, are required

·         Education: Completion of secondary school is required

·         Language: English
