Position Info:

• Position: Chef
• Terms of employment: Full-time, Permanent
• Wage: $34.62~$36.00/hour (depending on experience)
• Working Hours: 30~40 hours/week
• Number of Positions:  1
• Work Location: 200 – 1970 Kane Road, Kelowna, BC V1V 2E5

Benefits:

Job Duties:

• Prepare and cook complete meals or specialty foods
• Supervise the activities of cooks and other kitchen workers
• Plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
• Create a menu and new recipes
• Participate in recruiting and hiring staff
• Provide cooks and other kitchen staff training in preparation, cooking, and handling foods
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies

Job requirements:

• Experience: 2~3 years of commercial cooking experience are required
• Education: Completion of secondary school is required
• Language: English
