Overview
Job title: In-home caregiver.
Terms of employment: This job is for a full-time position (between 30 and 40 hours per week). Flexible / Split shift work schedule is required. Weekend work may be required. Job start is May 1 , 2026.
Language requirement: French or English.
Salary: Wage offered is between $17 and $19.00 per hour.
Location: AlLar… lives in North Hatley, in Quebec. The home is situated in a residential neighborhood, school and parks are nearby. The city bus is easily accessible and is close by. The major intersection is Chemin Magog and R. Main.
Duties may include:
1- This job is to help with the care of a 1 year old child.
2- Supervision of child when parents are not at home.
3- Organize and participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading and outings to provide
amusement and exercise
4- Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
5- Bathe children and change diapers as needed.
6- General housework that will include doing, laundry and some ironing.
7- Dusting rooms to ensure a clean environment
Qualifications:
1- Must have completed at minimum Canadian equivalent of secondary school education
2- Must have at least one year of work-related experience as a caregiver
3- Must be dependable, hardworking, independent, and able to manage the job without supervision
