Job Title: Private Family In-Home Caregiver
Job Description:
A private family in Sharon, Ontario is seeking a reliable and caring in-home caregiver for a 3-year-old child. The caregiver will provide attentive supervision and support the child’s daily routines and development in a safe and nurturing environment.

Terms of Employment:
Full-time, Permanent
30–40 hours per week
Typically Monday to Friday (schedule may vary based on employer’s needs)
Wage:
$22.00 per hour
Overtime pay will be provided after 44 hours per week in accordance with the Ontario Employment Standards Act

Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and care for a 3-year-old child in the employer’s home
Ensure the child’s safety and well-being at all times
Assist with daily routines including feeding, dressing, toileting, and napping
Plan and lead age-appropriate activities to support emotional, social, and cognitive development
Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for the child
Perform light housekeeping duties related to the child, including laundry, tidying play areas, organizing toys, and maintaining cleanliness of kitchen areas used for the child
Observe and monitor the child’s health and report any concerns to parents
Maintain regular communication with parents regarding the child’s daily activities and development
Skills & Requirements:
Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1–2 years) in a related field OR equivalent experience as a caregiver
Minimum 1 year of relevant childcare experience
First Aid and CPR certification
Strong communication and organizational skills
Reliable, patient, and attentive
Additional Information:
This is not a live-in position
Public transportation is available
